The location was great and absolutely perfect, to art gallery next door with easy access to a bakery and convenience stores.

The employees were very helpful and informative. the hotel's location was fantastic, being close to the town center, train station, old town/city center, and the Ludwig modern art museum. - It was a great choice for attending cultural events due to its proximity to the phone-perfect cultural event.

We enjoyed Krone. Location, short way from all attractions. WiFi was working perfectly. Hotel's parking is on-site.

Very close to the Carolus spa center and fairly close to the city center. Price is quite low. Breakfast is sufficient and tasty enough. A bottle of sparkling water was waiting for us in the room.
The person at the reception made us wait while he was finishing smoking his cigarette. Not very polite. We did not get a double bed but two twin beds, not the best for a couple. Bathroom is *very* small.

Staff and location are great!
Krone Hotel was renovated recently. I stayed at this hotel before, and it was better. Now they removed some of the furniture, and the rooms are no longer as welcoming as before. Also the fact that they were renovating the hotel Saturday morning at 9am did not help either.. I am not sure I will stay at this hotel again...

Nice designed rooms and friendly stuff.
Rooms are a bit small and bathroom is really small. Beds are uncomfortable cause even twin beds are separate. Room service is working from early morning.

Small room was clean and economically furnished. The breakfast was OK-the price fully corresponded.
We just wanted spent a night in Aachen and the main reason we chose just this hotel was the parking possibility "underground car park" for extra amount ("reservation is not needed"). No wonder, we were on the trip and our car was full of different luggage. We reached the hotel at 6 PM, so not so late. But the lady at the reception shortly told as that the parking is "full" so we must let the car on the public parking on the near square:-( It was not very pleasant to see all those rests of broken car windows there... At the end everything was OK but this was very irritating moment. And it is a pity because the hotel itself was OK.

I booked atwin bedded room. I mentioned two beds for two men. Hotel had not taken this into account. One large bed with two mattresses. I slept on the floor. They accepted the booking but did not say they had no suitable room or forgot the request when allocating rooms for the night. My arrival at 20.00 was obviously too late for rooms to be reallocated. As travelling by public transport it took sometime to find the right bus to catch to get there!
